The Economic and Technical Characteristics of Du’cathode®
Du’ cathode® can reduce the consumption of cathode plates in zinc electrolysis companies by 50%, increase production by 5-8%, and reduce the cost of cathode plates per ton zinc by more than 40%, significantly reducing labor intensity, saving electricity, and saving labor costs.
I. Maintenance Free
Du’ cathode® is the only proven maintenance free cathode in domestic and overseas market. Because of the use of most advanced manufacturing process and material, during its service time (3 years), no replacement or maintenance of any parts is needed based on given operating conditions. III. Capital Cost Savings

IV. Increased Zinc Output
The use of Du’ cathode is particularly prominent in the process of artificial zinc stripping. According to continuous observation and statistics by Baohui Group and Shaanxi Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. for more than three years, the time for stripping zinc is shortened from 4-5 hours per day to less than 2 hours. It means the electrolysis time is increased by more than two hours every day, and the output increases by 5-8%, in which the theoretical calculation is consistent with the actual statistics.
V. Reduced Energy Consumption
The company's self-produced explosion bonded contact ensures effective cross-sectional area and conductivity. A powerful explosion causes a shock wave which blows out any impurities and bonds the two metals together. After explosion bonding, the bonded plate is cut into individual explosive bonded contacts. Prior to cutting, a flaw detector was used to find out the edge where the bonding is not fully accomplished, it will then be cut and discarded, so as to ensure the highest quality of our contact.
